I learned the art of paper cutting on 2003. I took 6 lessons and my teacher told me after
the fourth lesson - “you are going to be genius in this kind of art”. I stopped my lessons
after 4 more hours. I become a membership in the Guild of American Papercutters (GAP).
On October 2004 GAP had a congress and they asked me to give about one hour lecture about
“The Jewish symbols which are used on Traditional Jewish Papercuts” plus a workshop about “Chamasa”.
It was a big success.
During 2005 and the begining of 2006 I had my first 4 exhibitions.
The first one was on September 2005 in the International Cultural Union (ICU) Galleries in Kastra, Haifa.
The second one on October 2006 at Gerard Behar Center in Jerusalem.
The third one during December 2005 and January 2006 an exhibition at “Beit Catz” Culture Center
in Kiryat-Byalik. From May 2006 I have 4 papercuts in a collective exhibition in Chaina in a city
called Nanjing. On August 2006 I opened exhibition in the Jewish Museum in Bratislava, Slovakia.
This exhibition will be open till the end of February 2007.
