Profile

Born in Poland in 1946, immigrated to Israel at the age of three, with her late parents Chana and Max Koploviz, Holocaust survivors. Zipora learned the art of paper cutting from her late father in law, Ya'akov Ne'eman who started to create paper cuts at the age of 70. Ya'akov's work has been acquired by many collectors and museums including the Jewish Museum in N.Y., The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C., The Skirball Museum in L.A., The Wolfson Museum in Jerusalem etc.

Zipora, a teacher of 37 years, has been teaching traditional paper cutting in Israel, the U.S.A., and Europe since 1977.
